I'd like to take a moment to share a bit of surprising news. While attending the reception for the 2023 @lunafineartgallery celebration of women, "Oneness: a Celebration of wholeness and harmony", I was presented with the "Award of Merit" for my piece, "Boxed in Emotion".

Though I am still a bit lost for words, I must say how honored I am to be able to stand alongside so many talented woman in celebration of woman's empowerment including one of the people that helped me get here, @kristenphoto and former classmate and good friend @kendallsainata, as both the only male in the show, and a black male at that. This meant a great deal to me on both fronts, as it shows even in today's world of division and separation, there is honor and respect through peace and love. It brought me great joy to hear that so many people from different sex, race, age, and walks of life enjoyed the message and conversation it represented.
Lastly, I would as always, like to thank my Lord Jesus Christ for the work he continues to do through me, my family and friends for their continued motivation, and all of you, my supporters. This award is not just mine; it is a testament to all the hard work, dedication, and creativity that we've put in together as a community. I hope that you take as much pride in this achievement as I do, and I look forward to continuing to work together to achieve even more in the future. #art
